Today you will discover Jordan's proud capital, Amman. By exploring both the ancient and modern parts of the city you'll gain insight into the daily life as well as the historic culture of Jordan.
The tour includes the crumbling ruins of the ancient Citadel, which sits proudly atop a hill and overlooks Amman’s Labyrinthine downtown. Marvel at the colossal pillars of the Temple of Hercules (larger than any temple in Rome) and wander around the remains of the Governor's Palace and Mosque, both later Islamic constructions.
Then transfer to visit Jerash, a tour through the colonnaded street, amphitheater, Churches, temples, and the vast Roman Forum. The best-preserved Roman City, Gerasa, which is called Jerash today, is also known as the city of 1.000 pillars. The city's golden age came under Roman rule, and the site is now generally acknowledged as one of the world's best preserved Roman provincial towns. Hidden for centuries in sand before being excavated and restored over the past 70 years, Jerash reveals a fine example of the grand, formal provincial urbanism that
is found throughout the Middle East.

Transfer to visit Madaba, located on the King’s Road. Known as the City of Mosaics, it is home to several Byzantine-era and Umayyad mosaics, scattered all over the busy market town. You will visit its most famous mosaic, discovered in 1884 when Greek Orthodox Christians uncovered it among the rubble of an old Byzantine chapel on the construction site of their new church.
Continue to visit the sanctuary at Mount Nebo, then you will visit Mt. Nebo, 10 km Northwest of Madaba - “And Moses, departing from the plains of Moab, climbed to the top of Mount Nebo, in Pisgah, which faces Jericho ...
Then visit of Madaba. The city of Mosaics, you will see the Saint George Church of Madaba, the "map of Palestine" unearthed in 1898 during the construction of the church. This barely altered mid-sixth century mosaic traces the geography of the Byzantine Near East.
Continue to Petra for Overnight at Hotel.

Visit the unique "Rose-Red" city of Petra, built by the Arab Nabatean’s who hewed their monumental tombs, palaces, temples, and treasury from the desert rock’s sandstone in its natural hues of rose and gold. You will begin the trip horseback riding for 700m (2,296 ft.) reaching the entrance of the impressive narrow gorge (Siq), leading to a marvelously and magical monument, where you get a glimpse of the Treasury, continue to the street of facades, the Royal Tombs, the Cardo, Temples, Churches, Museums.

Transfer to the lowest spot on earth, 398m (1306 ft.) below sea level - the Dead Sea. A time for leisure and swimming. Enjoy the bizarre but delightful experience of floating" on the surface of buoyant waters, nine times saltier than regular sea water.
The therapeutic water of the Dead Sea, combined with the valley’s fertile land and warm climate, have attracted people to live, hunt and farm in the area since the Stone Age.
